POSITION OVERVIEW
The Office Assistant supports the daily administrative operations of the office by
assisting with organization, communication, documentation, and routine office tasks.
This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and consistency within
the office environment while supporting the Office Manager and administrative team.
The Office Assistant is responsible for executing administrative tasks, maintaining
organization, and ensuring office processes are followed correctly. This role is focused
on supporting the flow of work rather than overseeing it.
This position is critical in helping maintain a structured, organized, and professional
office environment that aligns with Metalcrafters standards.
POSITION FOCUS
The main focus of the Office Assistant position is to support administrative operations
by completing tasks accurately, maintaining organization, and assisting with
communication and documentation across the office.
This includes responsibility for:
- Supporting daily office operations
- Assisting administrative staff and Office Manager
- Maintaining organization of files, records, and systems
- Assisting with invoice processing and basic administrative financial tasks
- Supporting communication between departments
- Ensuring proper documentation and system usage
- Maintaining office supplies, organization, and readiness

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily Office Support
- Assist with day-to-day office operations
- Support organization and cleanliness of the office environment
- Help maintain office readiness including supplies and equipment
- Complete assigned administrative tasks accurately and on time
- Assist with basic coordination of office needs
- Administrative Assistance
- Support administrative staff with daily workload and task completion
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and record keeping
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly stored
- Follow established administrative procedures and workflows
- Financial & Documentation Support
- Assist with invoice processing and documentation tracking
- Support payroll-related administrative tasks as assigned
- Help maintain organized financial records
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all administrative entries
- Policy & Process Adherence
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and office standards
- Ensure proper use of systems, documentation, and communication tools
- Maintain consistency in how tasks and records are handled

- Assist with communication between office staff and departments
