Metalcrafters NC is hiring a Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabricator to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality stainless steel components for custom fabrication projects including stairs, railings, and architectural metal products.

What You’ll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Cut, shape, and assemble stainless steel & aluminum materials
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding, grinding, polishing, and finishing
  • Ensure accurate measurements and high-quality results
  • Inspect finished work and correct any defects
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and standards
  • Work alongside fabrication teams to meet production deadlines
  • Utilize the Metalcrafters app for accurate job tracking and accountability

Requirements

  • Experience in stainless steel & aluminum fabrication
  • Proficiency in TIG and MIG (push pull) welding
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to think quickly and problem solve
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience with polishing and finishing stainless steel products
  • Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment
  • Ability to read and execute from detailed shop drawings
  • Reliable and punctual—ready to work on time every day
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (periodic updates required)
