Warehouse Delivery Driver

Metalcrafters NC is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our operations team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring materials, fabricated products, and equipment are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to our jobsites while supporting daily warehouse operations.

We're looking for someone who is organized, accountable, takes pride in their work, and understands that timely deliveries and accurate material handling are critical to the success of every project.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Safely transport miscellaneous metal products, materials, tools, and equipment to and from jobsites, vendors, and company facilities
• Load, unload, secure, and inspect materials to ensure safe transportation and prevent damage
• Verify delivery tickets, packing lists, and material quantities before departing and upon delivery
• Assist with receiving, organizing, stocking, and maintaining warehouse inventory
• Stage materials and equipment for upcoming fabrication and installation projects
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain clean, organized company vehicles and warehouse work areas
• Assist fabrication and installation teams with material movement and job preparation as needed
• Utilize the Metalcrafters App for daily tasks, delivery documentation, photos, and communication
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Foremen, Shop Personnel, Vendors, and Office Staff regarding deliveries and scheduling
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations (when applicable), OSHA requirements, and warehouse procedures
• Support warehouse operations and assist with miscellaneous duties during non-delivery periods
• Represent Metalcrafters professionally while interacting with customers, vendors, and contractors

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (Real ID compliant preferred)
• Previous delivery driving, warehouse, construction, or material handling experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts or willingness to become certified
• Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy materials
• Ability to read delivery tickets, work orders, and shipping documents accurately
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate pickup trucks, flatbed trucks, trailers, and warehouse equipment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet delivery schedules
• Ability to maintain required certifications including OSHA-10, Forklift, Scissor Lift, and other equipment certifications as required
• Must pass background check and drug screening
